Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

You will work closely with the Finance team to prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and Maintain payroll-related accounts, provide advisement to the Staff Accountant concerning the complex time entries in Greenshades and Processing Payroll in Great Plains and direct depositing into employee’s accounts. Monitor, reconcile, and resolve bank issues and work to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances. Evaluate all requests to add or change any departments or general ledger account numbers to ensure consistency and accuracy of the financial statements.

Assists with preparations for audits and delegate accounting tasks to staff accountants, contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
• Experience with non-profit accounting is a plus
• Microsoft Excel proficiency and the ability to manipulate large volumes of data ·
• Clear background checks as defined by regulations and policies
• Must possess good verbal, reading, and written communication in English; basic math skills; and basic computer skills.
