Part Time Independent Supported Living Professional
Job Description
Enable, Inc in Bismarck, ND is currently seeking a Part Time Independent Supported Living Professional (ISLP) to join our team. The Part time ISLP will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes, promoting independence and ensuring a high quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and household tasks
- Implement individualized support plans based on each person's unique needs and goals
- Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social activities
- Document progress and communicate regularly with the individual, their support team, and supervisor
- Provide guidance and encouragement to help individuals achieve their personal goals and increase independence
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position, with day time hours. The Part time ISLP will be required to work every other weekend (6 to 8 hours a day depending on the needs) Approximately 28-32 hours per a week. Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:30 am - 4pm,Fridays 9 am to 4 pm and every other Saturday and Sunday working 6 to 8 hours a day between 7 am and 5 pm.
